New versions of Beam widgets are typically published every couple of weeks, and Beam provides long-term support for each release.

Beam recommends upgrading the version of Beam widgets in your site at least once per year.

Beam follows semantic versioning, which means that upgrading from a version with the same first number as the new version will not require code changes in the existing implementation. However, updates may contain new features which require additional configuration to enable.

Version Change	Upgrade Steps
`1`.`11`.`2` to `1`.`19`.`1`	Same first number, no code changes needed when upgrading.
`1`.`19`.`0` to `2`.`15`.`5`	Different first number, there may be breaking changes. Follow upgrade guide in release notes.
